Children’s Programs

Sign up is required for these programs.

Animal Expedition:  Jungle & Rainforest Adventures
 Brave explorers are invited to join our animal expedition and learn about what happens during a jungle jamboree or rainforest adventure.  We might see elephants, giraffes, or monkeys as we explore the jungle.  Or we might search the rainforest for jaguars, tree frogs, or toucans.  Be sure to join us as we with discover the wild with stories, songs, games, or crafts.    All ages.

B-I-N-G-O!
Come play Bingo with us.              All ages.

Bugalicious- I Love Bugs!
Flies, crickets, stink bugs, centipedes, fleas and grasshoppers, too.  Join us for stories, facts, crafts and fun all about bugs.  Refreshments may be served.  All ages.

Bug Trivia
Have fun and play games while exploring fascinating bug facts!  From giant prehistoric insects to world-record winners, this program will have you saying "Golly-Gee-Whiz!"  as you get a bug's-eye view of the world and discover what it would be like if you had some amazing bug-abilities!    Ages 7 & up.

Buggy Nights
Share "Buggy Nights" and campfire adventures with your nocturnal friends- buzzing mosquitoes, swooping bats, lumpy bumpy toads and amazing moths-to name a few.  Enjoy stories, camp songs, night-time science and camp crafts.  Ages 6 & up

Fairy Tale Olympics
Once upon a time… The fairy tale creatures had a contest.  Celebrate the Summer Olympics as we join in some cool fairy tale inspired games.
 Ages 3 & up.

Grossology
Warning! This program is downright disgusting! If it's mushy, squishy, or just plain revolting you'll find it here. Be ready to be grossed out by rude sounds, gross songs, repulsive stories and more!  Ages 6 & up.

Jitterbug Ball
Join us at the Jitterbug Ball for a toe tappin’, leg slappin’ good time.  Listen to silly bug stories, sing and dance to silly bug songs and make a crazy bug craft.  Ages 2 – 7

 

Oh My Golly, Creepy Crawlies!
You'll be buggin' for this program!  Bugs are amazing creatures. They can walk on the ceiling, make cool webs and always seem to know when you are having a picnic. We'll investigate some of the more unusual critters in the insect world and have some creepy crawly fun!         Ages 6 & up.

 

Scavenger Hunt
Do you have what it takes to follow the clues and find all the hidden items?  Join us anytime this week for a fun, interactive game.  All ages.

Story Book Bugs

           

Come and join the fun as we read and sing about itsy bitsy spiders, grouchy lady bugs, busy bees and more!  We will make a craft, play some games and have a great time.   Snacks may be served.              Ages 2-7
