Employment Opportunities at the Position vacancies occur upon the resignation of an employee or when a new position is created. A copy of the position description is posted at the Main Library on the Library Employment Opportunities bulletin board in the first floor lobby and at all Branch Libraries. Openings are posted for a period of at least two weeks. During that time, interested individuals should complete an employment application. Additionally, applications for professional openings (requiring a bachelor's degree) or Master in Library Science openings are required to submit a current resume with the employment application. Employment forms are available in the Main Library Business Office between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. When the Business Office is closed an application form may be obtained at the Circulation Desk on the first floor. Applications are also available at any Branch location. The Library does not accept resumes or employment applications unless there is a posted vacancy. |
