A Teachers Guide to
Public Library Services
The library's web site is a great place to begin looking
for help with lesson plans. You can access our library
catalog to see what materials are available on your
subject, then use the Assignment Alert form to let us
know what your class is doing. Our programs and services
are explained with a calendar to aid
in your planning.
Research Databases
The library has several research databases available
on our web site that can be used to find valid resources
for assignments or lesson plans. Information from magazines,
journals, newspapers, reference books, and even test
prep sources can be found. Check out our Research Database

for a list. All are available in the library, and the
ones listed under Remote Access can be used from a computer
at home or at school.
